This successful joint venture between a community in Keiskammahoek, provincial government and Amadlelo is planning to expand its processing unit.

The Seven Stars Trust is a joint venture between emerging farmers, represented by Seven Stars Primary Producers Co-operative, the Eastern Cape Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform and Amadlelo Agri to resuscitate 750 hectares of irrigation land.

Mr Leonard Ndlovu is a graduate of the Tshwane University of Technology where he completed his national diploma in animal production in 2000.  He has also completed short courses in veld management and planning, and artificial insemination.

He has close on 20 years in diary farming and joined Amadlelo in 2005.  Mr Mavhunga was also the receipient of Agricultural Writers of SA award for best new entrant after he won the Eastern Cape regional award.
