This 8-year project in Whittlesea boasts the fastest profit share pay-out.

A partnership between Amadlelo Agri and the Mayime Co-operative, the Eastern Cape Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform kickstarted the project by funding the revamp of an irrigation scheme on behalf of the co-operative while Amadlelo Agri raised funding to buy livestock.

The project became operational in February 2011 and was a project with the fastest profit share pay-out.

Mr Jan Engelbrecht matriculated from one of South Africa’s oldest agricultural schools, the Marlow Agricultural High School in Cradock in 1991. He has over 25 years of experience in dairy farming which he gained in South Africa and New Zealand.
